Propylene glycol monooleate (PGMO) is the result of the reaction of oleic acid with propylene glycol esterification, the product of the reaction is a mixture of monoester and double ester, and Propylene glycol monooleate (PGMO) can be obtained after distillation. PGMO has the penetration augment and work as the surface active agent; Thus, it is widely used as the emulsifier,
co-emulsifier, or osmotic accelerator.
